Welcome to Beyond Little House!
This lovely web site has been months in the making. Frankly, we’re excited to pieces about it. It’s just what every Laura fan needs.
How did it come about? Basically, a few Laura fans got together and realized that in spite of all the invaluable information available all across the Internet about Laura Ingalls Wilder, there’s no easy way to get to it. No clearinghouse. No crossroads. And who’s to say that the info you come across is accurate or relevant? So we wanted to make sure anyone who wanted info on Laura had a place to come they could trust.
And Beyond Little House was born.
Plus, completely selfishly speaking, we just love Laura. Not only do we love reading her books, we love reading about her. And talking about her. This site is first and foremost a blog, contributed to regularly by various Laura experts (and a guest poster or two), each of whom has her own interests, quirks, and style. We’ll write about anything as long as it pertains to Laura.
Quite simply: we want to help you get your Laura on.
Poke around. Let us know what you think. Most importantly, visit often. Add Beyond Little House to your feeds. For Laura fans it will be worth coming back to, again and again.

Looks great!
How exciting! As always, I’m looking forward to learning more.
Very impressive! I’m so happy to see that you’re constantly making this endeavor bigger and better.
I’m excited to see this new website. I enjoyed Rebecca’s post and feel so fortunate to take so many trips to the Little House Sites. It will be nice to have a place to post the upcoming events for the Laura Sites and to read about each one. Good Job!
I love the finished product. I look forward to the additions. Great job ladies!
Hooray! I am thrilled to see this newest of blogs about all things Laura. It will be a great “clearinghouse” for the many who want to tour and touch the life of our favorite prairie girl.
This is great!!! I’m a huge fan of Laura. I have all the books she wrote, books written about all her family, great grandparents, grandparents, her Ma&Pa and books her daughter Rose wrote…might say I’m addicted. Thanks for your site. Just Mae
