Forgive me if I am posting this question in the wrong place...I love this blog and am so happy to see ANYTHING else Laura-related... I have the typical background of "loving Laura" and the interest in her and her life that has persisted into adulthood...

My question, though, regards The Long Winter. Are there historical weather records for S Dakota from that time that bear out the "blizzards for seven months" that Laura described? If so, can you point me in their direction?

Thank you so much, I am looking forward to checking back often!!

Is the three-ring binder of back issues still available? I thought when they came out with the compilation of the best of the articles that the three-ring binder option disappeared. If not, please tell me how I can order it. Thanks!
