Besides the museum, the Wilder barn is still standing (at least I haven&#039;t heard that they&#039;ve torn it down yet - although the owners plan to). Also, you can visit Royal Wilder and a few slightly more distant family members graves in the cemetery. Historic Forrestville preserves a general store from 1910. If at all possible try to get there when the Spring Valley Historical Museum is open. Because their Laura exhibit is great. 

They also have a pretty terrific A&amp;W restaurant and their public library has an actual tree inside.</description>
