In the fall of 2008, the Little House on the Prairie homesite near Independence, Kansas, made national headlines due to a lawsuit filed against them by Friendly Family Productions, who own the rights to the Little House on the Prairie television series. But since that time, there’s been no mention of where things stood as far as this lawsuit was concerned.
Now it seems an agreement has been reached, although the terms of that agreement will not be officially released until sometime next month. The good news is that owner Bill Kurtis doesn’t anticipate that there will be any significant changes to the way the museum is run.
