Over my dead body! – - Whatever it takes to keep it open…they better figure it out. Perhaps, if it did actually close as a school, could it possibly be “another museum”?! I would hope that whatever the case, the plaque will stay, and it will always be commemorated for MARY, a “historical figure”! Hopefully, if worse came to worse, I would definately urge the Benton County Historical Society to offer to open it as a museum. What are your thoughts??
No one has any thoughts? Concerns?
It did close, yesterday (May 25, 2011) was the last day of school for students attending the on campus program. A very sad day for visually impaired students state wide. My son was one of the six students attending this year, and he was the one and only student planning to return school year.
The campus has been “shared” for the last couple of years by Americorp, it is excepted they will take over the remaining parts of the campus.
