At this very moment, the Homesteader staff is working on new pricing for the newsletter: single issues, subscriptions, and back packages. Once the current edition, Issue 17, Summer 2010, goes to press — in time to share at LauraPalooza — current rates will be obsolete. If you want to take advantage of lower rates, now’s your chance.

I’ve ordered 4 issues of The Homesteader and was wondering how long it will take for me to receive? Thank you.
Just ordered back issue package plus one year subscription… will this be a total of 18 issues (16 back issues, plus the current #17 and one more for the subscription)? This is my “consolation prize” for not being able to attend Laurapalooza. Really looking forward to them!
Hi Vicki,
I have to apologize — your order came in just as we were moving cross-country. We had about two weeks where the issues were not accessible for sending out. But all is back to normal now, and your order is on the way. I wouldn’t be surprised if it arrives today.

Hi TLynn,
The short answer is, yes, that’s right. You will receive 18 issues, and your subscription will end with the upcoming winter issue (issue 18).
The long answer is that your question made me discover a typo on that page — but it’s a typo that works in your favor. The back-issue package always includes everything BUT the current issue, so being listed as a 16-issue package rather than 15 was incorrect. I’ve fixed the error now, but you ordered before it was fixed, so you’ll get one issue for free. Yay!

Sandra,
Yay! Thank you SO much – I can’t wait to get them!

When will the latest addition of the Homesteader be mailed out?
I have been enjoying these SO much! They are a much higher quality than I expected (due to experience with others…but I should have known better, based on this site!). Anyway, I’m trying to go slowly and make them last. I would like to say, to help me learn self-denial, as the Ingalls girls did with the serial papers from Mrs. Boast, but that wouldn’t be true – I just can’t stand the idea of getting to the end of them!
So, I have lingered over the first five issues, and next in line was number 7. Was number 6 a sell-out, or would it be possible for me to get a copy of it with my subscription as well?
