LauraPalooza Makes the New York Times!

The official paper of record, in a story about the imminent publication of Pioneer Girl and what that means to the legacy of Laura Ingalls Wilder, has mentioned LauraPalooza. The story quotes author Pamela Simith Hill (whose name will be on Pioneer Girl), past president and LauraPalooza chair Amy Lauters, and founding LIWLRA board member and Homesteader publisher Sandra Hume.

How cool is that?

Just to clarify, the article wasn’t written by the NYT. It’s an Associated Press article. Any of the AP’s thousands of members can pick up the article as the NYT did. Learn more here: http://www.ap.org/company/faqs

Yes, of course. The AP story was picked up internationally, but as the paper of record, the NYT is a great place to garner a mention, no?
