Registration

Registration is open as of February 7, 2010. You can register both online and by mail. Access the registration form (a PDF) here.

Download the registration form, fill it in, and print it. Then mail it to Dr. Amy Lauters, Minnesota State University, Mankato, Dept of Mass Communications, NH 136, Mankato, MN 56001. You may request a PayPal invoice at that time by emailing beyondlittlehouse [at] gmail.com or enclose your check or money order with your registration form.

Registration covers admission to all speakers for all three days, including admission to the Author’s Reception Thursday night and to Dean Butler’s Legacy Documentaries showing Friday night. Two special meals–a Recognition lunch on Thursday and a Tin Pail Lunch/Spelling Bee lunch on Saturday–are extra for those who don’t stay in the dorms. You may also add on the Walnut Grove field trip with your registration.

Hi. My name is Sanne. I am from Copenhagen, Denmark. I would love to attend the conference in July. I will register by using the form but how do I transfer money to you since I don’t have access to the mentioned methods of payment? I look forward to hear from you.
    Kind regards Sanne

Hi, Sanne. If you have a bank account, you can set up a free PayPal account at paypal.com, and it will transfer the currency to us. I will check with our bank to see if we can accept international money orders, too. Go ahead and send us your registration form right away, and I will reserve a spot for you while we research the best method of transferring funds internationally. Amy

HI, my name is Ann and I am employed in the summer monthes at the Harkin Store in New Ulm.I don’t know if you are familiar with us we are a Mn
state historical site.We are an 1870’s store located in beautiful downtown West Newton, 40% of our merchandise is original as is the building site. We would love to promote your event if you have pamphlets or some info we could hand out to our summer tourist,we open mid May till mid Sept..In our presentation we do include Laura since her store was open at the same time as Alexander Harkins’. I noticed on your web page under locale attractions we weren’t mentioned, I really think it would be beneficial to both of us if we were. Also, if you are having any vendors at your show we do have people in the area that make bonnets ,night caps, quilted items any item to the period. Ann Koch
