A brand new website for the town of De Smet is drawing national attention and it’s just recently gone live.

Unofficially Roland Frank Rydstrom, who has been working at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Memorial Society in De Smet this year has been a very active user and great about sharing what’s going on in De Smet (note: it’s his personal feed and also included is non-Laura stuff, etc.). Rydstrom helped them unveil an official Facebook and plan on adding an official Twitter for the Memorial Society before the season starts next year.
If you haven’t yet, be sure to sign up for their e-club to get a bit of Laura delivered to your in box every month on the Memorial Society website.
Don’t forget to check the Ingalls Homestead and the De Smet Pageant which has a website and its own Facebook page.
