Homesteader’s New Numbering System

The Homesteader just sent off its sixteenth issue. We’ve been in print for eight years! Sometimes I can’t quite believe that myself. All the thanks goes to you, the readers. Without an audience, there would be no Homesteader.

I’d like you to know that we’ve made a change with the latest issue–a change for the better. 

It’s become clear that our issue numbering system needs to be simpler. Instead of working with separate volume and issue numbers, i.e., Volume 5, Issue 2, we’re now simply numbering the issues incrementally with whole numbers — Issue 1, Issue 2, Issue 3, etc. Pretty straightforward. We thought you’d like it that way.

We expect that for some time there will be some overlap, especially as we use up inventory for incoming orders. For your reference, here’s how the new numbering system corresponds to the old:
